The New Junior High is an impressive project valued at $23 million, featuring a spacious 142,000 square foot building. It incorporates a well-organized design with a central two-story gallery that separates the public and academic areas. The academic spaces are strategically positioned around a secure open courtyard, enclosed by a two-story steel and glass structure that houses eight distinct academic neighborhoods. Each neighborhood consists of individual classrooms centered around a collaborative learning space, catering to a variety of learning environments. It’s worth noting that the MEP engineering for this project was expertly handled by CJD Engineering. On the second floor, the library offers breathtaking views of both the exterior courtyard and the main gallery. Moreover, the Gymnasium and Cafeteria, which are public spaces, feature expansive open areas constructed using Precast concrete walls and Double Tee roof construction methods.
